FREE READ – WHO PLAYS PLUS WHEN & WHERE

         Week one is done and with it we have all five small school football teams undefeated!!

         We also have an unbeaten volleyball team in Moundridge with three schools sitting with just one loss on their record, and one with a pair.

         Again, late, but it is here – our offer up of a look at the schedule for the six area high schools and where they will be playing and when in the week ahead.

         AND IT IS A FREE READ!!

         WHY IS IT CALLED THE FREE READ – because all other stories will cost a whopping $2.50/per month to read. That is it, less than a cost of your cup of coffee from most places except the fast-food places.

         WHY – because the staff must eat themselves and while we have no advertising, then we present the cost to you. If you want us to eat and continue to give MEDIA LOVE to your favorite high school programs, then here you go – if not, then this could be the final year of coverage, plain and simple as that….

         HERE IS THE BREAKDOWN of the six area schools and who is playing when for week two beginning Tuesday, September 9 to Sunday, September 14.

CANTON/GALVA EAGLES =

Ø Monday, Sept. 8 = the USD 419 Board of Education had a meeting.

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9 = the Lady Eagle volleyball team will be at home for a quad with Little River, Centre, and Peabody/Burns.

Ø Thursday, Sept.11 = the Eagle cross country team will be running at the Hesston Invitational.

Ø Friday, Sept. 12 = Eagle football will be at Hutchinson Central Christian.

Ø Saturday, Sept. 13 = the Lady Eagle volleyball team will play at the Goessel Tournament.

ELYRIA CHRISTIAN EAGLES =

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9 = the Lady Eagle volleyball team will play at a triangular in Goessel with Goessel and Wichita Homeschool Defenders.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 11 = the Eagle cross country team will run at the Hesston Invitational.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 11 = the Lady Eagle volleyball plays at Wichita Central  Christian Academy (WCCA).

Ø Saturday, Sept.13 = the Lady Eagle volleyball team will play at the Goessel Tournament.

INMAN TEUTONS =

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9 = the Lady Teuton volleyball team will host a quad with Moundridge, Sedgwick, and Wichita Classical.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 11 = the Teuton cross country teams will run at the Hesston Invitational.

Ø Friday, Sept. 12 = the Teuton football team will host Wichita Trinity Academy.

Ø Saturday, Sept. 13 = the Lady Teuton volleyball team will play at the Haven Invitational.

LITTLE RIVER REDSKINS =

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9 = the Lady Redskin volleyball team will be at the Canton/Galva quad with Canton/Galva, Centre, and Peabody/Burns.

Ø Wednesday, Sept. 10 = School Board Meeting.

Ø Friday, Sept. 12 = the Redskin football team will be on the road at Rural Vista.

Ø Saturday, Sept.13 = the Lady Redskin volleyball team will be at the Centre Invitational.

MOUNDRIDGE WILDCATS =

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9 = the unbeaten Lady Wildcat volleyball team will play at the Inman quad with Inman, Sedgwick, and Wichita Classical.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 11 = the Wildcat cross country teams will run at the Hesston Invitational.

Ø Friday, Sept. 12 = the Wildcat football team plays host to Sterling.

Ø Saturday, Sept. 13 = the Lady Wildcat volleyball team plays at the Goessel Tournament.

SMOKY VALLEY VIKINGS =

Ø Monday, Sept. 8 = School Board Meeting.

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9 = Lady Viking volleyball will be on the road at Hays.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 11 = Lady Viking tennis has a home meet.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 11 = the Viking cross country teams will run at the Hesston Invitational.

Ø Friday, Sept. 12 = the Viking football team plays at Belle Plaine.

Ø Saturday, Sept. 13 = the Lady Viking tennis team is at Hesston

Ø Saturday, Sept. 13 = the Lady Viking volleyball team plays at Southeast of Saline.

Remember, we will also post daily EMS/Fire calls/runs from the McPherson County communities if we receive the log reports by noon the following day.
