By Staff             The young Elyria Christian track/field teams opened the 2026 season on Tuesday, April 7 hosting a meet held in Goessel.           With just five teams participating, the Lady Eagles finished third with 40 team points as Goessel (148) and Halstead (128) placed first and second. The other two schools at the meet were Peabody/Burns and Lyons.           Joy Beck in the 800 meters and Haven Bower in the 400 meters were the lone Lady Eagle first place finishers
