USD 423 SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS & MISSION

Currently the Moundridge USD 423 is led by Superintendent Cody Rierson, who is reachable at riersonc@usd423.org or .
Current members of the USD 423 Board of Education are:
President = Michael Beasley, reachable at 620-755-0770.

Member = Dwight Goering, reachable at 620-345-8262.

Member = Brad Jantz, reachable at 620-654-6083.
The Moundridge USD 423 Board of Education meets the second Monday of the month, though Superintendent Rierson has indicated that this coming school year a few meetings will change time and days due to other issues. Most meetings are held at 7:00 pm in the boardroom at USD 423.
The USD 423 Board will meet on Tuesday, August 26 at 7:00 am for a RNR / Budget Hearing.
There is an election coming up in November with three (3) open spots on the USD 423 School Board to be refilled/filled. Currently all three incumbents (Craig Galle, Ryan Koehn, and Brad Jantz) are running as is Arhea Unruh.
The Mission of USD 423 is:
Ø To empower all students to contribute successfully as members of the global society.
Students should have:
Ø Respect towards self, others, the community, and the environment.
Ø Effective communication skills.
Ø Abilities to set and meet high standards.
Ø Abilities to apply problem solving processes in a variety of contexts.
Ø Abilities to participate productively and responsibly in a rapidly changing society.
Ø Have cooperative and independent learning strategies.
Moundridge USD 423 will know the mission has been achieved when all high school graduates have accomplished the above goal statements.
