LADY TEUTONS FINISH 2ND AT HOME INVITATIONAL

INMAN GOES 4-1, JUST BEHIND SEDGWICK

INMAN – On Saturday, the Inman High volleyball team opened their 2023 season much like the way they ended the 2022 season, coming up short at a six-team home invitational where they placed second behind Sedgwick.

The Lady Teutons began the day with a straight set, 25-11 and 15-11 win over Remington followed by another straight set thumping of Conway Springs, 25-7 and 25-9.

IN their third match of the day against cross county rival Moundridge, Inman scored yet another straight set win, this time 25-16, 25-19 before earning their fourth, straight set victory 25-15 and 25-17 over Chaparral in the Invitational semi=finals.

In the battle of the top two teams, the Lady Teutons took a first set 25-17 win before losing the final two clos sets 22-25 and 21-25 and suffering their first loss of the day and season.

The Lady Teutons were scheduled to host a quad on Tuesday with Canton/Galva, Centre, and Wichita Classical beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Lady Teutons beat Remington 25-11, 15-11 = 1-0

Lady Teutons beat Conway Springs 25-7, 25-9 = 2-0

Lady Teutons beat Lady Wildcats 25-16, 25-19 = 3-0

Lady Teutons beat Chaparral 25-15, 25-17 = 4-0

Lady Teutons lost to Sedgwick 25-17, 22-25, 21-25 = 4-1
