NOW 7-4 FOR SEASON   By Staff             LINDSBORG – By winning the final two games, over Southeast of Saline and Lyons,  at  the Sterling Invitational last week, the Smoky Valley boys basketball team have now won four of their last five game and six of eight.             This give the Vikings a 7-4 season mark as they tangle with Class 2A Hutchison Trinity (4-9) on the road Tuesday, January 27 before closing out the January schedule with a home battle against Russell (6-7)

HEITSCHMDIT RECORDES DOUBLE-DOUBLE             HOISINGTON – Last Tuesday the Smoky Valley boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Hoisington where they both lost, the Lady Vikings lost by 31 while the Viking boys could not hold a lead late in the game and lost by one.           The Viking boys are now 3-3 for the season while the Lady Vikings drop to 1-5.           Both teams will be hosting Chapman  on Tuesday, January 13 before going on the road to Nickerson on Friday,
