By Staff The McPherson County area high schools will be well represented at the 2026 Kansas State Track/Field meet in Wichita this coming Friday and Saturday, May 29 ad 30 as 63 athletes will compete in 76 individual events not counting those covering 23 relay events as well. By Staff The Moundridge track/field teams both placed second on Tuesday at the Douglass Invitational with the Lady Wildcats securing eight first-place finishes, including three by Cammi Unruh, while the Wildcat boys six. For the Lady Wildcats, Cammi Unruh continued to be on a tear this spring, winning the 100- and 200-Meters, plus the Triple Jump while placing second in the High Jump. In the boy’s competition, Little River took first with 155 points while Moundridge ran second with 121 and Inman finished fourth with 77.
