PLAY INMAN IN REGIONALS

MOUNDRIDGE – The Moundridge football team got their district win on Thursday when they hammered Medicine Lodge for a 33-7 victory.

Now 7-2 on the season, the Wildcats will get another shot at county rival Inman in their Class 1A Regional matchup. Inman is 8-1 and defeated Moundridge 7-22 on October 24.

Against Medicine Lodge, Paul Grill ran wild with 261 yards rushing on 27 carries which included a pair of touchdowns covering 15- and 17-yards. As a team, the Wildcats recorded 336 yards in total offense on 49 offensive plays, 307 coming from the running attack.

On defense, the Wildcats held Medicine Lodge to just 133 yards on 49 plays. Easton Shahan grabbed two of the Moundridge interceptions.
