Moddelmog Makes 5 3-Pointers

MOUNDRIDGE – It was the Moundridge boys who earned area bragging rights on Thursday as they defeated county rival Inman by 27, 52-25, at the Moundridge Early Season Tournament.
The Wildcats doubled up the Teutons 14-7 by the end of the first quarter before taking an eight point, 21-13 advantage into the halftime break.
Moundridge turned their offense up in the final two quarters, outscoring Inman 16-4 and 15-8 in earning the final 27-point margin of victory.
Barrett Moddelmog connected on five three-pointers to top Moundridge in scoring with 15 while the Kanitz brothers each chipped in with eight points each and Henry Hecox hit seven.
The Wildcats are still unbeaten at 3-0 and will tangle with Lyons on Friday to close out the Moundridge Early Season Tournament.
