MARION – Only three high schoolers ran at the Marion Invitational representing the Inman cross country program, but two of them medaled in the process.

Addison Wedel and Abigail Siemens, both sophomores, finished thirteenth and fifteenth for the Lady Teutons which means they both medaled.

No Teuton boys ran the race as both Tyler Martisko and Riley Roots are prepping to run on Saturday, September 23 in Lawrence at the Rim Rock Farm High School Cross Country Classic, a race hosted by the University of Kansas.

Inman also had a pair of junior high runners at Marion with Loki Turcotte, running in the seventh-grade girls division won a medal by finishing tenth, and Jayden Roots running in the eighth-grade girls race finished nineteenth.

Next up for the entire Teuton cross country team will be on Thursday, September 28 at Harvey County East Lake in a meet hosted by Berean Academy.
