REDSKINS STUMBLE AT BURRTON

BURRTON – With the hopes of putting weather issues behind them, the Little River boys finally got back on the competitive court Wednesday at the Burrton Tournament where they lost 45-52 to Hutchinson Central Christian.

Leading by a two, 13-11, at the end of the first quarter, the Redskins clung to a 26-26 tie with Central Christian going  into the halftime break.

Central Christian pulled ahead by three, 33-36, after three quarters before taking advantage of Little River losing a pair of players to fouls in the final quarter and beating the Redskins by seven.

Andrew Smith and Logan Schubert led the Redskins with 11 points each while Smith tied with Blayne Baldetti for tops in rebounds with seven.
