          MOUNDRIDGE – The Moundridge girls continue to roll for the 2025/26 season as they scored three decisive and impressive wins at the Moundridge Tournament last week.

 

          The Lady Wildcats opened the week with a 69-10 rout over Lyons on Tuesday, then followed that up with a 35-27 win over Hillsboro on Thursday before closing out the week with a huge 64-39 win over county rival Inman on Friday.

 

          Next up for the Lady Wildcats before the holiday break will be  battle with Class 1A Division I powerhouse Little River on Tuesday followed by a Friday contest with Sedgwick.

 

          Here is a summary of the three games last week:

 

TUESDAY, DEC. 9 – vs. Lyons at the Moundridge Tournament

          The Lady Wildcats opened the week with a 59-point, 69-10, hammering of Lyons.

         

Moundridge opened the game with a 28-1 first quarter lead and extended it to 40-point, 42-2, advantage as the teams broke for the halftime break. After outscoring Lyons 18-2 in the third, Moundridge let up on the gas a bit before closing out the 59-point victory.

 

          Mackie Conkling and Mach Kaminkow led the Lady Wildcat offense with 13 points each while Addy Patrick scored 11 and Cammi Unruh had 10.  Both Conkling and Addy Patrick hit three three-pointers.

 

          It was a team effort with nine Lady Wildcats recorded at least one assist and in the  paint, 11 Lady Wildcats recorded at least one rebound. On defense, nine different players made a steal.

SCORING = Lady Wildcats won 69-10.

Lady Wildcats = 28-14-18-9 = 69; Lyons = 1-1-2-6 = 10.

FRIDAY, DEC. 12 – vs. Hillsboro at the Moundridge Tournament

          In game two against Hillsboro, the Lady Wildcats earned a low scoring, 11-point, 38-27 win.

         

Cammi Unruh led the offense with 16 points.

         

          Macy Kaminkow grabbed eight rebounds and Hattie Hecox dished out six assists.

SCORING = Lady Wildcats won 38-27.

SATURDAY, DEC. 13 – vs. Inman at the Moundridge Tournament

          Moundridge did no favors for county rival Inman on Saturday as they powered their way to a 29-point, 63-34 win.

 

          The Lady Wildcats raced out to a 16-4 first quarter lead and went into the halftime break leading 31-15. In the third quarter, Moundridge pushed the advantage 27 points at 46-19 before getting the final 29-point win.

 

          Cammi Unruh led the scoring for the Lady Wildcats as she hit for 21 points while Mackie Conkling scored 15 and Macy Kaminkow pitched in with 12.

SCORING: Lady Wildcats won 63=34.

Lady Wildcats = 16-15-15-17 = 63; Inman = 4-11-4-15 = 34.

LADY WILDCAT INDIVIDUAL STAT LEADERS:
