WILDCAT BOYS WIN TEAM TITLE, JANTZ EARNS MEDAL

BENNINGTON – On Thursday, the Moundridge cross country runners went on the road and competed in a shortened run at Bennington where the Wildcat boys won a team title and Haylee Jantz medaled in the girl’s race.
Due to incoming weather, the Invitational ran just a 2-mile run where Jantz earned a medal by finishing third in the girl’s division with a season best time of 13:38.61.
In the boys’ race, the Wildcats finished with 37 points to take the team title, ahead of host Bennington with 44 and third-place Salina Sacred Heart with 86.
Dan Kuder led the Wildcats with a seventh-place finish while Reid Graber at eleventh, Colter Adolf in twelfth, and Anthony Eguia running eighteenth all medaled.
Next up for the Wildcat cross county team will be on Thursday, September 26 at the Marion Invitational.
