Moddelmog Leads Wildcat Scorers

Moundridge – On Tuesday, the Moundridge boys powered out to a huge first half lead and never looked back in scoring a resounding 50-point, 67-17 home court win over Little River.
The Wildcats raced out to a 19-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended their advantage to 30 points at 42-12 heading into the halftime break.
Putting another 22 points on the board in the third quarter, Moundridge scored 64- of their 67 points before the final quarter.
Barrett Moddelmog led four Wildcats in double digits with 17 points thanks to three three-pointers while Henry Hecox scored 13, Kreighton Kanitz had 12 and Kepple Adolf chipped in with 12 by hitting four three-pointers.
Now 5-0 for the season and ranked number two in Class 2A behind Wichita Independent, the Wildcats close out their pre-Christmas schedule on Friday at home hosting Cheney.
