LADY WILDCATS BEAT INMAN BY 13

            MOUNDRIDGE – In their opening game of the 2024 Moundridge Pre-Season Tournament, the Moundridge girls held on in the fourth quarter to score a 13-point, 60-47 win over county rival Inman.

            The Lady Wildcats marched out to a commanding 15-5 lead by the end of the first quarter and held a 12-point, 31-19 advantage at the halftime break. After extending the lead to 20 at 46-26 by the end of the third quarter, the Lady Teutons attempted a comeback and out scored Moundridge 21-14 in the fourth, though the Lady Wildcats held  on for the final victory by 13.

            Cammi Unruh had a huge day for Moundridge, hitting four three-pointers in leading the team in scoring with 26 while also making five steals on defense.

            Halle Hecox also reached double digits with 11, Macy Kaminkow grabbed seven rebounds and Hatte Hecox dished our four assists.
