It was a long, 72-yard home run pass from Henry Hecox to Kaizer Kanitz that put the lone score on the scoreboard in the first quarter, giving Moundridge an early 7-0 edge of the Teutons, a score that lasted until the final quarter of play.

Inman finally took their one-time control of the game in the fourth quarter when they scored on a 12-yard run to take a short lived 8-7 advantage.

The Wildcats Hecox and Kanits once again connected for a scoring pass, this time from 21 yards to give Moundridge the final score and final five-point victory of  13-8.

Overall, it was an even played game with Inman holding a slight edge, 258-224, in total offense though the Teutons lost three fumbles and threw a pair of interceptions, while the Wildcats had just one fumble and a pair of interceptions tossed by Hecox.

Individually, Moundridge’s Henry Hecox completed fourteen of twenty-two passes for 214 yards with 184 of those yards covered in ten receptions by Kaizer Kanitz.
