MMS 7th-grade JUNIOR LADY PUPS SPLIT WITH CIRCLE

‘A’ Team Wins

MCPHERSON – On Monday last week the McPherson Middle School seventh-grade girls basketball team split a pair of games at home against Circle.

The ‘A’ team Junior Lady Pups scored a nine-point, 30-21 win as Kamryn Prescott led the team in scoring with 11 points.

Caysen Blake grabbed eight rebounds and made three steals, and Zayna Busse pulled in seven rebounds. Hannah Wilgers led the defense with four steals as the team totaled 18 total steals.

It did not go as well for the seventh-grade ‘B’ team as they suffered an eight-point, 23-31 loss.

Ava Mendoza topped the team in scoring with six, Zayna Busse led the Junior Lady Pups on the boards with eight rebounds and Averie Church made three steals.

Next up for the seventh grade Junior Lady Pups will be on Tuesday, November 28 on the road at Clearwater.
