LITTLE RIVER SPIKERS END SEASON WITH 9 STRAIGHT WINS……

            LITTLE RIVER – Chasing their third straight Class 1A Division I state championship, the Little River volleyball team closed out the 2024 regular season with a three-set win on the road Monday at St. John.

            With the win, the Lady Redskins close out the regular season with a nine-game win streak after suffering two of their three losses to Class 2A top ranked Inman in the first week of October.

            On Monday, the Lady Redskins traveled to St. John and made quick work of a three-set match, winning all three by scores of 25-11, 25-12, and 25-15.

            Evie Look directed much of the offense as she had 21 of the team’s 34 assists, Adelynne Strecker scored 15 digs with Saeyln Raleigh pitching in with a dozen and both Look and Havana Olander each punching out nine. Arika Feldman and Havana Olander led the work at the net for Little River with 15 and 11 kills, respectively.

            In the latest overall stats on maxpreps.com, Arika Feldman leads the Lady Redskins in both kills with 346 and blocks with 89 will being second in assists with 371 and third in digs with 192.

            Evie Look led the team in assists with 498 while putting out 191 digs and Adelynne Strecker topped the stats in digs with 388. Havana Olander is second in both kills with 316 and digs with 263.

            In pursuit of their third straight state championship, the Lady Redskins close out the 2024 regular season with a record of 30-6 as they prep for Class 1A Division I regionals on Tuesday, October 22. Sub-State would follow on Saturday, October 26.
