LITTLE RIVER SPIKERS TAKE DOWN INMAN

WIN 3 of 4 MATCHES

INMAN – On Thursday, the Little River volleyball team traveled to Inman and promptly won three of four matches.


With the win, the number two ranked in Class 1A Division I Lady Redskins are now 27-2 on the season as they look to conclude the regular season schedule on Tuesday, October 10 when they play host to Wichita Central Christian Academy and Junction City St. Xavier.


Little River won the first two sets against Inman 25-9 and 25-19 before Inman took them to extra volleys to get a win by the Lady Teutons 29-27 before the Lady Redskins bounced back with a decisive 25-11 win in set four.


Kate Ellwood and Evie Look combined to dish out 35 of the team’s 48 assists while Kami Grasser and Adelynne Strecker combined to punch out 35 of the Lady Redskins 66 digs.


Alaina Eck and Ashley Stephenson topped the team in kills with 14 and 11, respectively, with Aubrey Olander leading the way in blocks with eight.
