Score Decisive Wins over Canton/Galva – Goessel

LITTLE RIVER – The Little River volleyball team continued to roll on Tuesday with a mod quad at home hosting Canton/Galva, Herington, and Goessel where the Lady Redskins scored a pair of decisive wins over Canton/Galva and Goessel.

Now 26-2 for the season and riding a 10-game win streak, the Lady Redskins had a match scheduled on Thursday with Inman before closing out the regular season at home hosting St. Xaviers of Junction City and Wichita Central Christian Academy on Tuesday, October 10.

Against Canton/Galva, the Lady Redskins won both matches by identical 25-11 scores as Kate Ellwood and Evie Look directed the offense as both recorded 11 assists. Three girls topped the team in digs with six and Alania Eck led in kills with eight.

Goessel gave Little River a bit of a fight before the Lady Redskins put them away in straight sets 25-22 and 25-18.

Ellwood handed out 15 assists and Addelynne Strecker punched out 11 digs with Aubrey Olander scoring 10 kills to lead the team in stats.
