LITTLE RIVER – Getting a makeup game in on Monday, the Little River boys routed Wakefield at home by winning 55-14.
Now 6-5 for the season, the Redskins will be off until Tuesday, January 30 when they travel to Solomon.
In the first quarter, Little River jumped out to a nine-point, 15-6, lead before stretching the advantage out to 21 points at 33-12 heading into the halftime break. After the break, the Redskins cruised in for the final 41-point victory.
Eleven Redskins scored at least a pair of points in the contest with Ty Janette being the lone double-digit scorer, finishing with 15 points.
Jaxon Konen dished out five of the team’s 10 assists while Blayne Baldetti led the team in rebounds by grabbing six. Eleven players recorded pulling down at least one rebound in the game.
As a team, the Redskins dominate the paint, grabbing 30 rebounds with 22 of them coming on the offensive end of the court.
