REDSKINS SCORE 32-POINT WIN OVER GOESSEL

            GOESSEL – Looking to bounce back from an ugly loss on Saturday at St. John, the Little River boys traveled to Goessel on Tuesday and came home with a 32-point, 56-24 win.

The Redskins took control of the game from the opening tipoff as they raced out to a 17-4 lead by the end of the first quarter and took a 21-point, 34-13, advantage with them into the halftime break. After putting another 18 points on the scoreboard in the third quarter, Little River settled in for the final 32 point win.

Jaren Garrison led the Redskins in scoring with 16 while Lincoln Raleigh chipped in with 12 as eight players put points by their name in the scorebook.

Logan Schubert did the big work on the boards grabbing a team high seven rebounds while Jaxson Konen dished out a team high five assists, grabbed four rebounds and held the team high in steals with four.

The Little River defense was busy, recording 19 steals as they force Goessel into making a game high 28 turnovers.

            Now 5-3 on the season, the Redskins will be back on the road Friday at Rural Vista.
