Does not get much better for Little River’s football team than to open the 2026 season with a huge shut out, 46-0, win on the road at Ell-Saline.

With Nash Look and Jaren Garrison splitting time at quarterback, each throwing a five-yard scoring pass in the first half, giving the Redskins a 14-0 lead heading to the halftime break. Nash connected with Blayne Baldetti and Garrison with Jake White for the touchdowns.

Garrison added a six-yard scoring pass to Logan Schubert in the third quarter, and Eastyn Wohletz ran an interception back 24 yards to give Little River a comfortable 26-0 advantage heading into the final quarter of play. In the fourth, two scoring runs by Look and another by Duncan Olander sewed up the final 46-0 winning margin of victory.

Little River ran 49 offensive plays while gaining 258 yards, of which 204 were on the ground.

Look and Garrison combined to complete 7-of-14 passes for 54 yards, with Look leading the team in rushing with 76 yards. Logan Schubert ran for 65 on six totes, and Eastyn Wohletz had 44 on four runs.

The defense, led by Jhet Ewertt with ten tackles, held Ell-Saline to 192 yards on 55 snaps and forced three fumbles. Thirteen Redskins recorded tackles on the stat sheet.

Now 1-0 for the season, the Redskins will host Herington on Friday.
