Goessel put a score on the board in the third quarter to bring the deficit down to just two points before Smith again broke loose for a long scoring run, this time from 35 yards out, giving Little River a 10-point advantage. Goessel scored midway through the fourth quarter to make the final score just 30-26 in favor of the Redskins.
