LITTLE RIVER HANGS 64 ON HERRINGTON

On Friday, the Little River left few doubts about their ability to dominate a game as they barreled over Herrington with a 64-6 victory.
Scoring four times in both the first and second quarters while getting a two-point conversion on each powered the Reskins to a 64-6 advantage and game over at halftime.
Logan Schubert returning a pair of punts, 50- and 54-yard touchdowns, highlighted the first-quarter scoring. Blayne Baldetti took a seven-yard pass from Jaren Garrison to the house for a score, while Garrison also scored on a 29-yard run.
Both Garrison and Schubert added scoring runs in the second, and Jake White scampered in twice as well to finish off the 64-6 hammering.
Little River only needed 154 yards on offense to get the win as the defense held Herrington to just minus-eight yards for the night, with 14 Redskins recording tackles on their stat sheets.
White and Schubert led the offense with 43 and 41 yards rushing, respectively.
Next up, Little River travels to Canton/Galva on Friday.
