LITTLE RIVER GIRLS SCORE BIG WIN OVER CENTRE

REMAIN UNBEATEN AT 13-0

LITTLE RIVER – It was with little effort on Friday as the Little River girls remained unbeaten after completing a commanding 58-7 home win over Centre.

Now 13-0 for the season and remaining as the  top ranked team in Class 1A Division I, the Lady Redskins have a busy week ahead as they play a weather make-up game on Saturday hosting Goessel, battle Canton/Galva on Tuesday and finish with a short road trip on Friday to Elyria Christian.

It was a complete whitewash in the first half as the Lady Redskins held Centre scoreless until the third quarter.

Fifteen Lady Redskins put stats by their name in the scorebooks with Alaina Eck leading the offense with 13 points while Aubrey Olander scored 10 and Arika Feldman had nine.

Eck had quick hands on defense with swiping 10 steals while Ashley Stephenson led 10 players recording rebounds as she grabbed six.
