            LOST SPRINGS – On Friday, Little River traveled to Lost Springs to play Centre and rolled over the Cougars for a 32-0 win in a game shortened due to incoming weather.

 

            Little River jumped all over Centre in the first quarter with scoring runs of 14- and 26-yards by Jaren Garrison plus a 29-yard touchdown scamper by Kyler Bergkamp. In between that was Logan Renken’s only completed pass of the game, a 62-yard touchdown to Logan Schubert.

 

            Little River dominated the stat sheet, rolling up 97 yards on just 13 plays in offense while holding Centre to minus-five yards on 10 plays, which included two fumbles lost and two blocked kicks by Jhett Ewertt and Blayne Baldetti.

 

            Offensively, Garrison ran for 59 yards on three carries and Bergkamp covered 38 yards in four totes.

 

On defense, Jaxson Konen had a pair of tackles.

 

            Now 3-0 for the season, the Redskins will play host to Goessel on Friday, September 27. The Bluebirds come into the game 1-2 for the season after losing 0-46 to Rural Vista on Friday.
