LITTLE RIVER BOYS HUMBLE BURRTON 42-9

BURRTON – In their final game of the Burrton Invitational, the Little River boys routed Burrton 42-9 for a win on Saturday.

 

The win puts the Redskins at 5-5 for the season as they get back on the hardwood Monday playing host to Wakefield.

 

Little River took a commanding 15-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and held a 28-4 advantage as the teams hit the halftime break before the Redskins cruised in the second half for the final 33-point victory.

 

Ty Janette was the lone Redskin to reach double digits in scoring with 13 with Logan Renken chipping in with nine. Nine Redskins had a rebound by their name in the scorebook with Janette leading the way with five and both Jaren Garrison and Andrew Smith each pulling down four.
