LADY REDSKINS END SEASON UNBEATEN

LITTLE RIVER – The Little River girls remained unbeaten as they closed out the 2024/25 regular season on Friday when they went on the road to play Olpe and scored a convincing 74-26 win.
Now 18-0 for the season, the Lady Redskins will be the number one seed and have a first-round bye in their sub-state tournament as they wait to play the winner of the eighth-seed Burden Central (7-11) and ninth-seed Oxford (6-13) next Saturday, March 1. Burden Central and Oxford play on Monday.

After powering out to an 18-3 lead by the end of the first quarter, the Lady Redskins pushed the advantage to 31 points, 45-14, at the halftime break. After outscoring Olpe 16-4 in the third quarter and 13-8 in the fourth, Little River closed out the final 48-point, 74-26, victory.
The Lady Redskins hit 60% of their two-point shots, outrebounded Olpe 36-23, forced Olpe into making 21 turnovers while winning the points in the paint (42-8), second chance points (24-8), and points scored after getting a turnover (30-3).
Four Lady Redskins hit for double digits in scoring led by Arika Feldman who hit four three-pointers in earning a game high of 22 while Havana Olander and Avery Lafferty each scored 12 and Addelynne Strecker had 11.
Strecker had an outstanding game overall as she just missed a double double with a game high nine assists while also pulling down six rebounds and swiping six steals. Havana Olander led the Lady Redskins in rebounds with seven while Lucy Wright grabbed six.
