LADY VIKING SPIKERS WIN PAIR AT ELLSWORTH

Beat Both Ellsworth & Central Plains in Straight Sets!

ELLSWORTH – On Thursday, the Smoky Valley volleyball team traveled to Ellsworth for a triangular with Ellsworth and Central Plains where they won both matches in straight sets.

Against Central Plains the Lady Vikings got the day started with a straight set pounding, winning 25-15 and 25-9. No other stats were available.

In the second match, Smoky Valley won in straight sets again, beating host Ellsworth 25-20 and 25-20.

Hope Duncan led the team in digs with 11 and kills with eight while Adrian Hazelwood directed the attacks by dishing out 20 assists. Katja Blanchat scored four of the teams 10 service aces plus she recorded seven kills.

Now 19-9 for the season, the Lady Vikings will be at home on Tuesday, October 10 when they host both Pratt and Hesston.
