Lose to Cheney, Beat Hoisington

LINDSBORG – On Tuesday, September 19 the Smoky Valley volleyball team split a pair of home matches with Cheney and Hoisington.
Against Cheney, the Lady Vikings suffered a three-set loss, winning the first set 25-22 before losing sets two and three, 21-25, 17-25.
Adrian Hazelwood dished out 17 assists while Breanne Peters made 12 digs. Hazelwood and Hope Duncan each chipped in with 11 and 10 digs and Duncan made 11 kills.
Smoky Valley scored a straight set win against Hoisington, winning 25-20 and 25-19.
Hazelwood again directed the offense with 25 assists. Katja Blanchat made 11 digs and Hope Duncan led the team in kills with nine.
Now 15-7 on the season, the Lady Vikings were scheduled to play host to Haven and Larned on Tuesday.
