Harris tops Inman Scoring

INMAN – The new era of Inman girls basketball under the tutelage of head coach Matt Harris began on Friday with a seven-point, 44-51 loss to visiting Minneapolis.
The Lady Teutons fell behind early, trailing by 13 at 6-19 at the end of the first quarter before pulling to within eight at 18-26 at the halftime break. While Minneapolis stretched their lead to 14 by the end of the third quarter, the Lady Teutons kept on fighting and closed out the game to pull within the final seven-point margin.
Suttyn Harris hit eight of ten on free throws to lead the Lady Teutons in scoring with 14 points while Taelynn Friesen just missed double digits with nine points, all on three three-pointers.
The Lady Teutons will hit the competitive court again on Tuesday at the Moundridge Early Season Tournament where they will tangle with Lyons.
