SOLOMON – On Tuesday, the Little River girls made a road trip to Solomon where they promptly buried the home team with a 75-14 win.

Now 12-0 for the season and still ranked number one in Class 1A Division I, the Lady Redskins will play host to Centre on Friday.

After putting 24 points on the scoreboard in the first quarter, the Lady Redskins poured another 17 in during the second quarter giving them a commanding 41-9 lead going into the halftime break. Coming out of the break, Little River put another 34 points on the board while holding Solomon to just five, giving the Lady Redskins the final 61-point victory.

The Little River offense was hotter than hot as they shot 47% from beyond the three-point line and connected on 67% of all the shots they took inside the arc while committing just four turnovers. On defense, the Lady Redskins stole the Solomon ball 24 times.

Alaina Eck led the team in scoring with 14 points while also dishing out four assists, grabbing five rebounds and making four steals. Arika Feldman also reached double digits with 12 points as she had the most steals with six.

Aubrey Olander chipped in with eight points while tying with Eck for team high in rebounds with five. Three Lady Redskins scored eight points – Kate Ellwood, Evie Look, and Adelynne Strecker while Saelyn Raleigh passed out a team high six assists and made five steals.
