LADY BULLPUP GOLFERS FINISH 3RD AT LEAGUE MEET

Kuhn Named 1st Team All-League

DERBY – For a second-year program the McPherson girls golf team continues to make waves as they went to Derby on Tuesday for the AVCTL (Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League) Division 3 & 4 tournament and came home with a third-place finish overall and second place among the Division 3 teams.

On top of that, Brodie Kuhn finished fourth individually by shooting an 85. Kuhn made the all-league first team with the finish as well.

Reese Elliott (t-12), Andi Buschbom (15), Olivia Cheatham (t-18) and Macy Rinker (t-18) all finished in the top 20, meaning they all made all-league honors.

“Our team struggled a bit,” pointed out Lady Bullpup head coach Treg Fawl. “But I was proud of the way they competed. We are right there in the mix heading into post-season play.”

Next up for the Lady Bullpup golfers will be the state regional meet on Monday, October 9 at Wamego
