LADY TEUTONS WIN FOUR, RANKED #1

            INMAN – The Inman volleyball team continues to roll as they scored four more wins last week with all being done in straight sets, giving the Lady Teutons a season mark of 21-1 and ranked first in Class 2A.

            On Tuesday, at Marion, the Lady Teutons beat both Marion and Berean Academy.

            Against Berean Academy, Inman won 25-14, 25-14 with Taylor Froese getting 11 assists, Adi Alcala, and Kenna Woods both made 11 digs and Suttyn Harris recorded eight kills.

            In the match with Marion, the Lady Teutons dominated in straight set wins of 25-13, 25-13. Taylor Froese had another 12 assists while Suttyn Harris made seven more kills and Adi Alcala dug out 12 digs with Harris and Kenna Woods digging out 10 and nine, respectively.

            Inman closed out the month of  September hosting a pair of matches with Sterling.

            In match one, the Lady Teutons won 25-18 and 25-16 as Ellie Thimmesch had 11 assists, Suttyn Harris made 11 kills plus Kenna Woods had eight digs.

            The second match was dominated by the Lady Teutons as they humbled Sterling with dominated wins of both sets, 25-9 and 25-10.

            Suttyn Harris had 11 kills, and Ellie Thimmesch had 11 assists to lead the team.

            Inman enters the month of October with a dual on the road at Moundridge on Tuesday, October 1 and  a dual at home with Little River, defending two-time state champion of Class 1A, on Thursday, October 3.
