ALL TEUTON RUNNERS HIT SEASON BEST TIMES AT BENNINGTON
By Staff
BENNINGTON – The Inman cross country program took four high school and three junior high runners to the Bennington Invitational on Thursday and came home with all seven-setting season best times while three of the four high school runners medaled.

Abigail Siemens ran a season best, 16:00.65 to finish seventeenth and medaled for the Lady Teutons while both Riley Roots and Tyler Martisko medaled for the Teuton boys with Roots placing fourth and Martisko running eighth, both with season best times.
In the junior high division, Loki Turcotte ran fourth in the one-mile eighth grade run while Teagan Stutzman finished ninth in the seventh-grade race, both with season best times. The lone junior high Teuton boy running was Wyatt Wichert, and he finished fourth in the seventh-grade run.
Teuton head coach Jay Parsons noted a few things about the Invitational when he reflected on the day, saying, “This course is hillier than any course we have run this season. The weather was hot and due to wet conditions coming in they ran just two-miles for the races. The races today were a test of desire and stamina, not only because of the course, but also the heat.”
Next up for the Inman harriers will be on Thursday, September 26 at the Marion Invitational.
