ROOTS, MARTISKO WILL RUN AT STATE MEET

INMAN – For the third season in a row, Tyler Martisko will run at the Class 2A State Cross Country Championship as both he and Riley Roots qualified for the Inman Teutons at the regional meet on Saturday.
Martisko finished fourth overall at regionals with a time of 17:03.50 while Roots, who qualified for the state meet for the first time, finished third with a run of 16:48.40.
Hunter Schrader also ran at regionals for the Teutons where he finished fifty-sixth with a time of 22:16.00.
Addison Wedel was the lone Lady Teuton running as Abigail Siemens is still out due to an illness. Wedel ran a season best time of 23:50.20 which placed her eighteenth, just three spots from state qualification.
