ELYRIA EARN 3 GOLDS AT MOUNDRIDGE HOSTED INVITE

MOUNDRIDGE – On Thursday, the Elyria Christian track/field teams participated at the McPherson County Early Season Track/Field Invitational hosted by Moundridge and came home with three individual golds.

Highlighting the performance by the Eagle boys was Blake Robertson who scored a pair of golds by winning both discus and shot put. Dominic Lundberg  finished fourth in the shot put  as well.

In the 800-meter run the Eagles finished second and third on times set by Emmitt Neufeldt and Ty Romero.

The Lady Eagles were led by Laney Reiff who took first in the 800 meters and second in the 1,600 meters.

Kenna Cass had a discus throw that put her second in the event while Brooke Davidson finished fourth in the shot put.
