CANTON/GALVA SPIKERS WIN PAIR AT CENTRE

Now 7-4 on Season!

CANTON – After losing three straight matches, the Canton/Galva volleyball team has found their angles for winning once again by taking a pair of straight set wins on Tuesday, September 12 at the Centre Quad with Elyria Christian and Goessel.

In the first match of the evening, the Lady Eagles took down Elyria Christian in straight sets, winning 25-17, 25-21.

Adi Alcala led the offensive attack with 20 assists while Trinity Espinoza topped the team in both digs with 10 and kills with 10.

For the second match against host Centre, the Lady Eagles again scored a straight win, winning set one 25-17 and set two 25-21.

Alcala again led the offensive attack with 15 assists and Trinity Espinoza led the team in digs with 14 and kills with eight.

Now 7-4 for the 2023 season, the Lady Eagles will be at home on Tuesday, September 19 for a senior night triangular with Wichita Classical and Goessel before going on the road to Elyria Christian on Thursday, September 21 for a triangular with Elyria and Burrton.
