Lyons – The Canton/Galva girls are on a roll as they won for the second time in two days on Tuesday, scoring a 24-point, 45-21 win on the road at Lyons.

Jumping out to a 12-1 lead by the end of the first quarter, the Lady Eagles took a commanding 20-point, 26-6 advantage with them into the halftime break. After adding 12 more points to their lead by scoring 19 points in the third quarter and holding a 32-point advantage at 45-13 heading into the final quarter, the Lady Lions tried to make a comeback and still fell 24 points short.

After scoring 22 on Monday, Trinity Espinoza had the touch again at Lyons and led the Lady Eagles in scoring with 23 points.

Now 4-2 on the season, the Lady Eagles will be at home on Friday hosting Centre before closing out their pre-Christmas part of the schedule next Tuesday, December 19 at Wakefield.
