Alcala, Hawkinson, lead the Lady Eagle Stats

CANTON – On Tuesday, the Canton/Galva volleyball team held triangular at home with Goessel and Wichita Classical where they lost both matches.

Against Goessel, the Lady Eagles lost in straight sets 21-25 and 15-25 with Adi Alcala leading the team in assists with 12 and blocks with one. Raegan Hawkinson punched out 18 digs and made four kills while also scoring one block.

Canton/Galva won the first set by two points with Wichita Classical, 25-23, before dropping the second and third set 21-25 and 20-25.

Against Classical, Raegan Hawkinson had a huge match as she led the Lady Eagles in digs with 12, Kills with 9 plus making one block and two assists. Jayden Orth chipped in with 11 digs and scored three service aces. Adi Alcala again directed the offense by handing out 13 assists.

Now 7-6 on the season, the Lady Eagles will b on the road Thursday at Elyria Christian for a triangular with Elyria and Burrton.
