ELBING – On the road Tuesday in Elbing, the Inman boys struggled early and lost to Berean Academy by six, 39-45.

Now 6-6 for the season, the Teutons will prep to play host to county rival Moundridge on Friday.

Falling behind by seven, 5-12, by the end of the first quarter, the Teutons pulled back to within four, 12-16, at the halftime break. The Teutons took a two-point, 26-24 lead into the final eight minutes of action where Berean outscored Inman by eight to earn the final six-point victory.

While the team stats showed an extremely close game, Berean outscored Inman 26-10 inside the paint.

Zach Martisko was the lone Teuton to reach double digits in the game with 12 points. Martisko also led the team in rebounds with seven.
