By Staff – Ir was a big day for Joy Beck of Elyria Christian on Tuesday at the Solomon Track/Field Invitational where the Lady Eagles finished fifth and the Eagle boys placed fourth overall. Beck scored wins in both the 800 and 1,600 meters for the Lady Eagles plus Isabelle Stucky placed second in the discus to score most of the Elyria 32 team points. WILDCATS SENDING FIVE It was a solid weekend for the cross-country teams of McPherson County area as eleven runners qualified from four schools, including three who finished in the top five at regionals and six in the top ten. Tyler Martisko and Riley Roots, both seniors at Inman, had the best day of running as Martisko finished second and Roots placed fourth at their regionals.
