By Staff In a pair of close games at home against Marion on Tuesday, the Moundridge baseball team split a doubleheader, winning game one 8-6 before going into the eighth inning before losing 10-11. In game one , the Wildcats scored six of their eight runs in the fourth and fifth innings and then held off a Marion four-run rally in the seventh to earn the two-run, 8-6 win. On Tuesday, the Moundridge baseball and softball teams each hosted Hillsboro for a one game get together where the baseball team overpowered the Trojans in a 15-0 shutout victory while the Lady Wildcats earned a walk-off win, 7-6, in the bottom of the seventh.
