LADY REDSKIN VOLLEYBALL WRAP UP

By Staff
LITTLE RIVER – They did it, the Little River volleyball team did something which very, very few can say they have done – they have won three straight state titles.
By winning the Class 1A Division I state championship, the Lady Redskins now have won three straight titles after finishing fourth at the 2021 state tournament.

Little River has won 154 games and lost just 18 in the past four season, finishing 34-6 in 2021, 39-4 in 2022 when winning the first state title, going 41-2 last season and then capping it all with a record of 39-6 this season.
In addition to the championship, Havana Olander, Arika Feldman and Addelynne Strecker were named first-team all-league while Evie Look made honorable mention and coach Kim Rolfs was named coach of the year.
Can they do it again next season? Chances look positive as the 2024 roster had but one senior and all the firepower will return.
In 2024, five Lady Redskins competed in all 103 sets played, including juniors Havana Olander, Addelynne Strecker, Arika Feldman, and Evie Look along with sophomore Saelyn Raleigh. Sophomore Avery Lafferty participated in 101 sets and freshman Macy Schubert played in 94.
While attacking the game, Arika Feldman led Little River in kills for the season with 441 while Havana Olander had 393 and Saelyn Raleigh recorded 324.
Feldman also led the team in blocks with 106, the lone Lady Redskin to go over 100. Raleigh pitched in with 83.
Addelynne Strecker punched out 487 digs with Olander getting 309 and Evie Look making 245. Feldman reached over 200 with 216 and Raleigh had 176.
Look and Feldman did most of the directing of the Little River offense with Look dishing out 638 assists and Feldman passed out 469.
Olander and Feldman led the team in serve aces with 81 and 52, respectively.
Several of the juniors have recorded some impressive career totals so far with Evie Look having played in 195 sets over two seasons while coming within three assists of a career thousand with 997. Look also has a career total of 377 digs.
Olander has recorded 531 kills and 411 digs while playing 203 sets in two full seasons of varsity action.
Arika Feldman has participated in 156 sets in her career where she had scored 479 assists, 483 kills and 230 digs.
Playing in 246 sets over three seasons, Addelynne Strecker had made 934 digs.
